I am totally digging this new lip ring !!! Lol joke, lost my usual lip stud (again) so I’m currently using my earring. It feels so ridiculously big, like a fish hook. Buy a new piercing, you may say- but alas, I am poor.
Sometimes I forget that the piercing on my face is a different entity to my body, and isn’t actually a part of it. Sometimes I even forget I have a piercing at all, because I’ve had it for so long, yet it’s something I identify myself with. My lip has been pierced on three different accounts, but the one that I did myself is the only one left standing- I could take out any of my other piercings easy, but not this one. Four years baby, four years.
